The Palacio is beautiful, the room and view was amazing and the staff were super helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and very fresh. A fantastic place to stay overnight on our drive from France to Portugal.

We stopped here for one night on our way home from a holiday in France. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. We slept very well. The shower was very good and recently renovated. The staff were friendly and recommended eating in their restaurant that night. It was an excellent meal, though we noticed there are lots of other restaurants and bars in the area.

Pool / spa was great for children, although need swim cap like most of Spain. Childrens play area useful too and great breakfast. Staff were excellent. Will be returning!

Everything about this place is good. It is the second time I have stayed here as it is bang on the Camino del Norte de Santiago. The service is great, the staff fantastic and the food ... wow!     Good location, especially for very short journey to Santander to catch the ferry. Phoned the hotel to let them know that a delay in our journey would mean a late arrival. No problem, they dealt with check-in quickly and efficiently, and then showed us to a large and clean room. Breakfast (as an extra) was good, cooked to order, with coffee, teas, juice, cereals, breads, croissants, fruits and other fresh items available. Spa facilities and garden area looked inviting but we had to leave to catch the ferry. Staff helpful and friendly.

    Great location only 20 mins drive from Santander ferry port. There are quite a few pubs/restaurants nearby plus a supermarket. The apartments are dog friendly and there is a suitable minor road nearby to exercise your dog. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. A fridge/freezer, oven, hob, toaster & dishwasher are all standard. It would've been nice to have a kettle included as well, though. Also, no iron or ironing board (although the latter was no problem for a one night stay). Overall, highly recommended
