This is one of the more unique accommodations we've ever stayed at. The apartment we rented (the larger 3 bedroom one) is part of the main building, a real castle, rich in history and charm. Beautiful, spacious, and cozy, with incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. The host was genuinely friendly - he made us feel very welcome and gave us an hour+ tour of the castle, which was a fascinating experience in its own right. The castle also has a vineyard, and we got to try some of its wine - the host gave us a free bottle, which we drank with deep satisfaction. Lots to do around the castle, including the pool (with a stunning garden to one side), a courtyard terrace (perfect for coffees or fermented night caps ;), and a jacuzzi. Stunning views all around.

    beautiful location, fascinating tour and insight to the family history, great wine made from the castle vineyard available, bbq area was well equipped, rustic and it was really nice to have exclusive use of the facilities- he host was very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble
