El Detalle is in an historic building and it was very comfortable, well set up and quiet. I love the Spanish metal blinds that block out all the light so we slept really well. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and sites. Maria, a helpful neighbour of the property communicated with us via text and WhatsApp to arrange to meet us with the keys which all went smoothly. We were able to park a few minutes walk away in the street but a very safe area.

The location was perfect, the house was HUGE and beautifully clean. We had a lovely stay. The balcony gets amazing afternoon and evening sunshine! There was even some salt and oil for us to cook with.

It could be a bit closer to the town, but not so far (we could walk there). On the other side we had a great view on the lake (because of the distance from the town). I just loved the decoration, old rural style. There was no air con and ... it was not necessary - the temperature inside the house was perfect "naturally" (so you can see advantages of traditional buildings - they keep cold). The owner did not spoke English at all, but she was on time to give us the keys and very friendly. We used phone translators and hands to "speak" it was funny but TBH there was nothing complicated to talk about. She gave us WiFi password, payment was also obvious. So "speaking" was a part of the attraction

    The apartment's location is stunning, with views over the whole valley. It is spotless and has all the necessary amenities. There's a nice common areas where you can have breakfast, coffee and tea, as well as a beautiful, small swimming-pool.

    Location was as expected, in the beautiful town of Zahara. Self check-in was convinient as I arrived late in the evening. It was off season because there was only another room vacant but the standard was very good, very clean hostel.
