Everything was very good. The communication with the host was excellent, she also provided us with the transfer from the airport. Very clean rooms, all amenities available. The property is located 5 minutes from the bus stop that leads to Santa's village and the airport.

Our stay at these igloos was nothing short of magical. The accommodation perfectly blended comfort and natural beauty, offering an extraordinary arctic experience. The igloo was incredibly functional, maintaining a perfect temperature and providing all necessary comforts. Situated on a frozen lake, its glass walls allowed us to sleep under a starry sky and witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights and stunning sunrise. The accompanying cottage was cozy and inviting, complete with a warm fireplace and a traditional sauna. An extra thoughtful touch was the host's provision of a delightful lactose-free breakfast in a beautifully prepared box, catering to dietary needs with care. The entire experience felt like a personal winter wonderland – intimate, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't recommend this unique retreat more highly. For those seeking an extraordinary winter getaway, Vikajärvi Lake View Experience Igloos is a must-go accommodation

I had a wonderful 4-night solo stay here just before Christmas. The location is fantastic – within walking distance to the Arktikum museum and a frozen lake, which is perfect for Aurora viewing. It’s also conveniently close to the city center and bus stops, just 5-10 minutes away. The accommodation itself was warm, cozy, and an ideal base for exploring Rovaniemi and its surroundings. Highly recommended!

    Communication with Hugo the host was great. He sent us all the info about the appartment and offered to help if we had any questions regarding our trip and what to do around. The place was spotless, very well decorated and functional. We loved the sauna, kitchen was great and bedding really comfortable. Location was also ideal, walking distance to the city centre (25-30min) but still in a quiet neighbourhood and not far from the river.

    Greta value for money! Especially if you are looking for a cheaper place to stay that still ticks all the boxes. Facilities were great! The beds were super comfy, shower was great, kitchen is big and clearly marked and sauna was perfect! Everything was very clean. Great location as well, only 5-10min walk and you’re in the centre.

    Although Motelli Rovaniemi is far from the most luxurious of accommodation available in the area it offers great value for money. It's location is more suited to people with transport but there is an adequate though not too frequent bus service with bus stops in both directions a few meters from the reception. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean and had all the basics covered. I would say Motelli Rovaniemi is ideal for people on a budget or planning a short stay. We would definitely consider staying again.

    Llona was a pleasure to deal with and the Appartment was in the perfect location for us, as a family for 5 . Near all the shops and restaurants, and of course the bus stop to take you to either Santa claus village or Santa Park. The Appartment was very clean and comfortable and very cosy and warm . Near to local shopping centre, McDonald’s, pizza places, supermarket, about 15 min drive from Santa park & Santa village. 20 min from airport, taxi only around €25/30. So good location. Has a storage room for €10 per unit per day (ideal for check in/check out day). Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, hoover, even things like sponge, washing up liquid etc. very lovely stay! Highly recommend & will use again in the future
