I really liked the kitchen; it had a complete set of tableware and cookware, and even included seasonings. The facilities worked well. The house was very spacious, and both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. The landlord was very kind and provided a lot of assistance! Although the location was somewhat remote, there were forests and other places nearby to explore. The landlord even provided a small sled, which was adorable.

The house was beautiful. On arrival, it was all candle lit, cosy, and the rooms were presented with love and care. The house is perfectly located to enjoy the northern lights, we stood on the drive and watched as they danced overhead and above the forest. There is no need to drive around chasing locations or paying for excursions. The facilities were great: good quality pans for cooking, plenty of crockery, complimentary tea and coffee. The welcome pack was clear and friendly. The shower was great, and so was the sauna, a great bonus to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary toiletries. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. The open fire not only gave the room a relaxing, authentic ambience but also provided extra warmth. Not that it was needed, as the heating was incredible. The house was so warm, we sat in t-shirts and didn't once feel cold. The outdoor space is more than any parent could ask for. Safe, beautiful views and on our visit an abundance of snow, complete with snow mounds perfect for non-stop sledging, which were included for our stay! The garden backs onto an inviting forest, where you can take wander, enjoy the views, and not worry about losing yourself. Perfect little adventures for the family right on the doorstep. The local supermarket is literally a minute drive away. Jarno and Henna were so helpful before, during, and after our stay: accessible through email and the WhatsApp.

The accommodation was so cozy and lovely. We really had a great time here and it was directly located at the lake! The owner was also really kind and gave us some good tips what we could do there!

Good instructions. Great location. Fantastic facilities. We recommend booking the hot tub.

We are 3 days in Rovaniemi and we stayed at Pekkala guesthouse, the house was perfectly clean and Mr. Eija with her husband very good people and hosts. I recommend it to everyone, it's worth it.

Everything was great! we like this beautiful place:) Comfortable bedrooms, top-notch kitchen with all equipments, washing and dryer machines. we didn’t have any problems with keys or other organisation questions.

Spent NYE night at this cabin and had an incredible time. The sauna and ice dip were amazing, the outside fire very cosy and we got lucky with spectacular northern lights over the lake. Highly recommend this stay.
