There are three more private cabins and dorm, all right on beach. Facilities are basic, what you would expect on remote island but lice (not sure of spelling but pronounced lee-they I think)and Jo do allot of little things like solar phone chargers, solar lights at night. I was treated like family. What a wonderful and memorable stay in a traditional Fijian village. We liked it so much that we ended up staying in Soso village for a month. Silo, Bill, Va, Rob, Simi, Luisa and Iki, we will never forget the great time we had with you. You took good care of us, prepared extra food for the children and helped us when they got sick. As for the village. The people are very friendly, with a lot of children, so our kids made friends instantly. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with a nice healthy reef to snorkel and there are some nice hikes with spectacular views over all of the Tasawas. As there is no light pollution, stargazing is breathtaking and the manta ray passage is just around the corner. The accommodation is very basic with a bucket shower and no-flush-toilet, but the beds are comfortable and the food is great. Note that the water available is rain water, so if you want to go safe, bring your own bottled water (or aqua-tabs) from the mainland because there are no real shops on the island. Also, you should wear a Sulu (Sarong) around the village and in church, men too. And it’s expected that you bring a kava root (worth 20 FJ$) and/or some money to present to the chief of the village when you arrive.

A beautiful, quiet cove with a fantastic beach. Beautiful coral and sea life to see when snorkelling. The staff are extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly. The variety of food cooked for us was delicious and plentiful. Staying at Ravita Cove is experiencing the real Fiji, no frills.

Just wow... I didn't expect it would be so hard to say goodbye after only 2 nights at this amazing paradise! Thea and her family are not just hosts, when you stay here you truly become a member of the family. The food is just incredible. One day we went snorkeling to a lonely beach and they made us fresh fish directly at the beach. It was such an experience sitting underneath palm trees and eating with them. They truly have a good heart and if you want to experience the real Fiji (not the ones in resorts), visit Gold Coast. You will live in a small beach hut where you can watch the Sunrise lying in your bed. The hut also has a small bathroom and a cold shower (that doesn't feel cold). No electricity in the huts, but you get a solar light and you can charge your devices at anytime in the mainhouse. Those 2 days have been just amazing. Thank you so much for that!

Beautiful location right on the beach - on the first day we had the beach to ourselves which was great. One of the volunteers (Sefo) really made our stay by teaching us about Fijian culture and also running a Kava ceremony, sharing fresh coconuts with us and arranging a bonfire on the beach.
