Beautiful, tasteful home. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and bike storage and charging was excellent. The bedroom was spacious and bright with a very comfortable bed. The highlight was the very tasty and generous breakfast with a great selection of delicious items and homemade preserves. The free range eggs were wonderful. Highly recommended.

We were travelling up from the south west and needed a place to stop over for one night. We also wanted secure parking as we had electric bicycles on the back of the car and Hotel de La Croix d'Or was perfect. The food in the resturant that night was superb and a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice the next morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless. We were sorry to have only spent the one night in Avranches and would like to have had the time to explore it a bit more

    Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was tastefully furnished and very clean. The location great - right in the town centre. Pretty terrace and garden to sit in. Delightful breakfast with fresh croissants and bread.
