We stop over in Picardy when travelling between France and England and we love the area around Coucy le Chateau. The Chateau du Mont Guny has an incredible location and has been wonderfully redecorated. It is not especially cheap, but you are paying for a perfect calm rural setting, lovely rooms, fabulous views and a terrace for breakfast and evenings. Very strongly recommended indeed.

Beautiful little wooden house in a very quiet location with a beautiful garden and a private parking, all securely gated. The interior is tastefully decorated and fully equipped, with a washing machine and aircon in the living room. They even provide a barbecue and a cheese raclette machine that one could enjoy on a beautiful day and eat on the big deck terrace just out of the living area. The shower is very pleasant with great water pressure. The bedroom on the mezzanine has a fan and opens on the second terrace. A great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to visit Compiègne and the Pierrefonds castle.

This property is exceptional. I couldn’t name one fault about it. The hospitality, attention to detail, food, location and beauty of the place is what I would hope for on a holiday but so often rarely find.

Amazing location in a small village tucked away between forests. Super quiet. Loved the seclusion of the balcony attached to the master bedroom. Mostly, I loved the attention to details and all the little perks, like enough towels and toilet paper, an incredibly well-equipped kitchen including coffee, board games etc. Excellent Wi-fi in the living room. The hygiene in the whole apartment was excellent! You can park your car literally in front of the door, which is an amazing bonus when travelling with a whole family by car. I am only sad that we stayed for 1 night. I would love to revisit the location in the future and stay for several nights and explore the surrounding forest.

A charming old house, spacy and comfortable room, very nice and helpful hostess. Breakfast was in French style: variety of tasty local bread, brioche, croissants, jam, butter, fresh orange juice and coffee.
