An amazing, spotlessly clean property. The spa bath in the bedroom was very unusual but absolutely fantastic. We had been walking for 10 days and being able to soak and listen to music on the brilliant sound system was awesome. Everything in the place was designed to make the stay perfect.

If I could, I’d rate it 100/10 :) lovely old house in the small village with a welcoming and friendly host family. Good breakfasts with homemade yoghurt, jams, pastries. Good and various dinners are made with local products. Everything was so carefully thought out in the room, from blackout curtains and windows with mosquito nets to great quality towels and bed linen. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Abbaye de Villelongue's chambres d'hotes. Although this historical Cisterncian abbey had been in ruins, it continues to be lovingly restored and maintained by the owners who live on-site. We marveled at the abbey's magnificent architecture, unique sculptures, serenity of the garden where fruit trees and some flowers were beginning to blossom and the colorful wisteria was in bloom. The rooms are located in the former monks' dormitory. Our room with its great garden view was uniquely decorated with antique furniture, pottery, gourds and was magical and romantic. We enjoyed and appreciated the breakfast especially the homemade confiture (jam) and the delicious locally produced "brebis" (sheep) yogurt. We felt so special during our stay at the abbey with access to the grounds and garden whenever we wanted, its tranquility and location in the beautiful countryside. We enjoyed talking with the owners and were fortunate to meet their son and grandchild who were there for a visit. C'etait un sejour merveilleux!

This place is very special, situated in the lovely elevated village of Fanjeaux, it is a superbly designed suite of rooms with a stunning view for miles across the countryside as far as the Black Mountains. With its own private entrance, the first room in the suite is a spacious conservatory with cosy seats, beautiful plants, decor with books and even painting and sketching materials thoughtfully provided for guests. From here a door leads into very attractive mini-kitchen/dining room that looks out across the stunning view, with coffee-machine, fridge, microwave and little butler sink complete with a dresser filled with beautiful pottery and glassware. The next room with the same breathtaking view is the super comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The hosts have put so much care into making people welcome here and are very kind and responsive while giving guests perfect privacy in a peaceful space.

    Very nice, well equipped apartment close to the amenities in the small town of Bram which has all you need. Very reactive and helpful host. The location is ideal for visiting Carcassonne and the surrounding area as there is a station just a short walk from the apartment. We enjoyed our stay here.

    We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chateau de la prade. The apartment, which overlooks a big lawn and is next to the swimming pool, was big and comfy for us (a family of 4), and well equipped. The location is great (you need a car), 2 mins walk from the canal du Midi. The hosts were really nice!

    Location was fabulous, close to many local attractions but also out of the way and secluded. The closest town, Bram, is lovely and there are good restaurants and stores nearby. Great, plentiful breakfast with croissants, fresh baked goods, bread, homemade jams, yogurt, and fruit. Nice, clean pool. It’s also nice to be right next to the Canal du Midi (walk, bike, or run in nature!). Staff are friendly and helpful and have great suggestions for local tourism.
