What a cute little spot! Very friendly welcome and helpful host. Really fun accommodation. Very well-kept. Lovely private little garden for the children to play. Easy journey to the port at Caen the next morning, just a shame we had to leave so quickly!

The owners welcomed us into their home and made us very welcome.Close to Bayeaux but isolated enough for true piece and quite. The grounds are extensive and very well painted. We will be returning next year for a longer stay.

Great apartment, exactly as described and met our needs perfectly for 2 nights in Caen. Arrival instructions/photos made it really simple to access both the secure parking and the apartment (via self serve lockbox). Well located for local facilities (groceries, boulangerie etc) and we enjoyed having breakfast on the private balcony - even in the huge thunder storm on the first day it was dry we enjoyed having the doors wide open. We were able to leave our car behind to explore Caen highlights on foot (a simple 2km walk to L'Abbaye des Hommes), but there is also a bus stop directly outside the address for those who may not want to walk. A very peaceful stay...almost no noise from the surrounding area.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude towards the hosts. They are very kind, and friendly people. It was nice speaking with them and they made me feel very welcome. The facilities are amazing, it's a spacious house with a living room with air-conditioning, a large and clean bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast is also very good, as the bread appears to be fresh from the bakery every day, and the host makes sure to confirm at which time you like to have breakfast so that it is as fresh as possible. It was a very delicious breakfast every day. The place is in a very calm location, which I enjoyed. Within 10 to 15 minutes drive you can be in a busier place (Bayeux/Caen) and a lot of historic places from the war are within 30 to 45 minutes drive from there.
