    A lovely Manor House which has been very well rejuvenated by the owners in a beautifully quiet location at the edge of Clecy, in the fantastic Suisse-Normand. Add to that the friendliness and helpfulness (and excellent restaurant suggestion) of the owners, and a good breakfast, and you should not want for more.

    Quiet location, close to four local restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Good showers. Nathalie and Arnaud are excellent hosts and Nathalie bakes delicious cakes using eggs from the chickens we saw just down the road, we looked forward to breakfast every morning.

    The house was spotlessly clean and well designed. There was pretty much everything you needed for a few days stay. As we were going to the ww2 celebrations the house was well located for pretty much all of the locations too. The more we went out we realised there is actually a lot of stuff to do around the area too, kayaking, restaurants, golf and much more. One happy doggy too.

    Idyllic location. We were early because of car problem. Madame initially had a lot on her plate and we thought she was very abrupt and unhelpful but she was pleasant and accommodating afterwards and had her own problems that day which was unfortunate. Room and breakfast were fine and as expected. Lovely river right there and good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Would be happy to stay again and best wishes to her and her husband.

    The room was up 2 flights of steep stairs, so would not be suitable for someone who wasn’t fully mobile. It would be difficult to carry a case up the stairs, but most people were only staying for 1 night so that was not a problem. The breakfast was basic, but the room rate was cheap so we didn’t expect more. The location and grounds are lovely. Unfortunately we had a problem with a key and were unable to get out of our room. The lady running the hotel and other guests responded quickly and we had a new lock on the door before nighttime.
