Rural setting so very quiet. Very close to Chinon. Welcoming host. Very good breakfast and very comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom ensuite. Just as advertised. If we have the opportunity we would go back.

We stayed in this charming place during our honeymoon and it was very nice! The room is in a converted medieval barn: it is very spacious, decorated with style and care, and features two separate sitting areas. The breakfast was more than ample - with plenty of options to choose from - one of the best we had in France. What makes the place really special is its owners - Vero and Ronan. To give only one example: Vero kindly did our laundry for us and didn't even charge for it! Overall, an unforgettable experience!

The location is fantastic, being positioned opposite the River Vienne and a short walk to the centre of town, restaurants and bars. The whole building is charming and the apartment has been restored beautifully. We really enjoyed the tour of the whole building that the owner gave us, gaining an appreciation of its history and future plans.
