The photos correspond to the reality, a fairytale like internal protected garden adds to the charme of the place. The hosts were very friendly, and the house was really quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast which had different options and the super homemade marmalades!! It was a one night stop in our journey and we will go back for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jean-Luc's lovely village house which has a view of Peyrepertuse castle from the balcony. The house has been beautifully restored by Jean-Luc himself, with careful attention to detail regarding everything needed for a comfortable stay. He served us a wonderful, home cooked supper on the terrace: we highly recommend the dinner option. Breakfast was excellent too, and we enjoyed tasting the different types of honey and chatting with our host and the other guests.

    Cucugnan is a charming hillside village, but easily accessible and a great area for walking, touring and wine tasting. There are many historical attractions, (Queribus and Peryperteuse castles) in the area. My snug, en-suite double room was very clean and comfortable, with its own door to the terrace and stunning views. There are several bistros nearby serving excellent food. The host is very friendly and helpful for walking advice. The host serves a substantial continental breakfast and chats with the guests. I stayed two enjoyable nights
