Spotlessly clean secure apartment. Very spacious. Large rooms. Would suit a family if it was better equipped. Modern bathroom with washing machine (I assume it works. BYO detergent though). Plenty of storage drawers and cubicles (but only 3 coat hangers and limited hanging space if you need it). Heating in each room. I couldn't figure out how to use it (!), but I'll assume they work! There is a large courtyard which can be used a parking space if you need one, although there is plenty of parking just down the road beside the canal. Great location for access to the Veloroute.

Excellent location. Easy drive to Rheims, Epernay and Châlons-en-Champagne. Very pleasant single storey house. Easy parking in front area. Damery is a nice little town and a short walk to the River Marne where there are nice walks and cycle routes. Also some nice cafes and restaurants. Nearby is Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne as well as numerous champagne houses within easy walking distance of Chez Delphine. Within easy reach are the battlefields of the Marne including the huge memorial at Mondemont-Montgivroux. Delphine, the owner was charming and helpful.

Beautifully presented clean and tidy and excellent hosts. A lovely garden area to relax in from 6pm and an assortment of champagnes in the fridge to purchase if required. Easy walk to town. Very impressed.

The owners are very welcoming. Breakfast is excellent! Everything is tasty and most things are home made. There is also the possibility to enjoy a light dinner and experience champagne tasting. It’s very convenient as it’s in the premises, and the experience superb. Last but not least: Location wise it is ideally placed.

    The location was good. Damery is a great village to stay in. The host provided no information regarding the property and no details of what to do with the rubbish. The place was perfectly clean but needs attention- cushion covers are torn, toilet cistern needs fixing as does the oven door, door to the garage, front door lock faulty, x2 arms chairs need replacing, coffee table has a broken leg, there is water damage on the ceiling and the place needs a toaster.
