A lovely one night stay in the hills above Vienne. Nice welcome, aircon in room was a bonus on a boiling hot day, as was the small pool. Breakfast was very pleasant. Perfect!

Nice gite on a quiet location with secure parking. Good Wi-Fi and a work desk available on one of the bedrooms. Comfortable bed and kitchen well equipped. Washing machine useful. Shop in village about a 30 minute walk away. Breakfast basket available at an extra cost, but we didn’t utilise this option. Bed linen and towel package also available which we did order and that was fine.

La Bâtie is a great place to be. We lived in the flat (not in the little tower), where we had a lot of space for us as well inside as outside on the private terrace. The flat has everything you need to feel at home. The view from the flat windows and from the terrace over the historic city centre and the river Rhône is just fantastic. Jean greeted us very warmly and was there for all our issues - he is a perfect host.

Very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equiped room with carefully thought and function interior design. We felt like being at home. It was definitelly the best accomodation on our journey through the Lyon region and Provence. In addition, the owner was very helpful and carying, and provided us all what we needed including the lift from and to the train station, since there very limited transport options on Sundays. Otherwise, there is a bus stop just in front of the accomodation. Moreover, a rich breakfast is available upon request, which we have gladly welcome.

    Super friendly hosts, we stayed as a family of 5. Lots for the kids to do, location was great to explore Vienne. A really relaxed and peaceful stay. Will definitely be returning.

    good location when travelling from North of France to the south East or the Alps. This is the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. Good parking.
