Absolutely fantastic hotel with the nicest people you can expect to meet.They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely return again. Lovely breakfast, too. Extremely quick replies to questions. The hotel is in a beautiful part of france with lots to see and do nearby.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for genuine ' French Period' chic. The old family house has been beautifully done up and you are right in the middle of the town square in the charming small village of Galan, the hosts are very thoughtful and kind and the breakfast served outside is second to none. Definitely recommend over the other Le Clos, which I have also recently stayed at (unless having a swimming pool is important to you). There are 3 restaurants (one of which is a 3 Star Michelin) all within walking distance of your B and B.

It was very homely. Bedroom, bathroom, meals were high quality. Doris and Alan were very friendly amenable. The Dog was friendly too!

What a delightful place to stay in a beautiful part of the country. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed into good company. I arrived quite late, but Phillip was waiting for me and offered me a bottle of very fine wine. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation as we shared the bottle together. The house is beautifully restored and the breakfast was just right. I highly recommend spending time at Au Plech.

We had a large, bright and airy room in a very old house beautifully restored . Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and obliging. The room was comfortable even during a heatwave. A delicious English style breakfast was offered and we enjoyed sitting in the shade outdoors in the evenings I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing break in the country.
