Our one week stay in Cerdon was wonderful. The village has a long and moving history, with a nice museum and wineries to tell about it. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area, with beautiful lakes, activities and caves. The apartment is freshly renovated with good taste for detail. The view from the balcony is stunning, the sound from the river relaxing. Great quality/price balance. Better than on the pictures. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and made us feel at home. They even shared some local wine with us. The "petit déjeuner" breakfast was awesome. It included jam & yogurt made by Patricia. They renovated the house which they purchased some years ago, very tasteful and functional, keeping some off the original structure. Our bedroom was very spacious with a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. One needs a car to get to the gîte. It's near a beautiful lake, worth going for a stroll. We would go back to this gîte should we pass by again, perhaps for few more days as it is so relaxing. Thank you Patricia!

Lovely location which was great for our long drive from UK to Italy. Lots of character and original features in the house. Would like to return to explore local area more. House manager Sandra was fabulous and really helpful and really put the cherry on top of the cake. Will definitely return

We had a top room which was newly decorated, and very pleasant. The town itself was beautiful little village. This was only our pit stop driving from Italy, and we were so surprised by the village and it's beauty.
