Everything about this place was as it should be. No luxury, just thoughtful design, clean, practical and comfortable. I appreciated attention to details, for example nothing was missing from the kitchenette. I should also mention friendly and caring reception. They allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra charge. Supermarket and bakery in 1 min distance and Metro just 10 min from the property.

Villa Castoria was the perfect place for our 2 day stay in St Germain en Laye. Sadly we had a funeral to attend, but the location of the BnB was just right for us: a short walk to the church, and to the centre of St Germain. We loved the security of the house, set inside a pleasant garden, with car parking, and the calm at all times. Our room was large and very comfortable with a good bathroom and lots of storage space. Stan was the perfect host and prepared an excellent fresh breakfast for us. He was always available but never intrusive. We enjoyed talking to him about the house, his background, his interest in music and St Germain in general. We would love to come back.

We loved it here, we booked this after a last minute flight cancellation and were pleasantly surprised by everything they had to offer at the property. The bar was self service, food was served buffet style and it was delicious and the property offered everything you could ask for, beautiful outdoor seating, nordic baths, cinema, game room, library. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the place. .

I loved the decoration of the apartment — it's very charming and cozy. The residence feels chic and very safe, with friendly security guards. The neighborhood is peaceful, with everything you need close by. The metro is just a 3-minute walk away, which made getting around super easy. It was a lovely place for a weekend getaway with my child.

    Perfect location close to RER at a little square close to restaurants and bakeries. The staff is very helpful. We had enough of too many tourists and fenced off areas in Paris, so the host gave us a tip to go visit outside of Paris. Real nice place. This hotel gets our best recommendations.

    The apartment is in a converted garage of an old house, so beware the ceiling is 2 meters high, but it is a very quiet place and very cleanly organized.
