We spent a few unforgettable days in this peaceful heaven in the heart of Provence. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel truly at home. Breakfast is served outdoors in a stunning garden filled with flowers, birdsong and trees. The food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with local and homemade products. The garden itself is large and beautifully maintained — a perfect place to relax, read or enjoy a quiet meal if you don’t feel like going out. There are outdoor tables available, and guests are welcome to use them for a picnic or a casual dinner. The swimming pool is definitely a highlight — a real treat on hot summer days or after exploring the nearby villages. Whether you want to cool off with a quick dip or simply lounge with a good book, it adds another layer of relaxation to the experience. Although the atmosphere is wonderfully tranquil, you’ll find two good restaurants just a 10-minute walk away. It’s worth booking in advance, especially in high season. We’d highly recommend this place both to couples looking for a romantic escape and to families wanting to slow down and enjoy nature. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you’ll return.

    Our stay was great. The location was so close to the lake, we enjoyed the beach and made the short trip to Moustieres and the gorges. We had a family room which had plenty of space and we were delighted by the balcony and exceptional view. The restaurant was excellent and service friendly.

    The room and the bathroom were very clean. We had our bedsheets changed and room cleaned during our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast a lot. The location is great - right next to the lake (we had a room with a beautiful view on the lake). You can access a small beach - it's a 5-minute walk. The Auberge is also located near numerous places where you can rent kayaks, boats etc., and a couple of kilometres from the medieval town of Moustiers.
