The gite was beautiful, set in a rural hamlet yet with easy access to Mont Saint Michel and Pontorson (with a good selection of places to eat). It was a perfect stop over before our return ferry from St Malo. The hosts were very friendly and generously left us some of their delicious home grown plums. The gite was very well furnished and decorated to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped (though we only used it for tea/coffe due to our single night stay). Good off road parking right outside the gite. Couldn't have been better.

We booked seven different places of accomadation for our road trip around Normandy in July 2024 and we would both agree that Chateau de Chambres topped them all. They have done amazing renovations to their chateau and have left nothing to their customers imaginations. Maria & Martin gave us an exceptional Irish/French welcome and the breakfast was truly amazing. They were both full of knowledge of the local area and provided us with useful tips of local places to visit, which was extremely helpful. We were very sorry we had only booked one night in this beautiful chateau and we would highly recommend it to our friends and families.

our room was spacious with a double bed and a single bed in a separate room. shower in the room and private toilet across the passage. downstairs was a generous selection of games. the best thing was a short walk to the church garden that has a beautiful view to the coastline and to mount saint Michel

Hospitality, facilities, location, and food, all were excellent. We have stayed at other accommodation in the area and KerCalow is the best. Would highly recommend. The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide range of dishes and excellent quality and generous quantity. Despite our best efforts, we could not eat everything. I am planning to return and will be staying here if I can get in.

It is the lovely house and the holder. The yard has enough place for parking. The room is neat and quiet. The biggest plus is the breakfast, we have to go in hurry for the next distinction in the morning, but still impressed by it. 20 mins to the St.Michel. There are some decent restaurants in a small town.
