What I was surprised about was the location! It is one of the most beautiful small hill top towns I have ever stayed in in France. Wonderful views from the town over stunning countryside and lovely period properties. there was also a couple of well positioned restaurants there to eat out or just have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. The building itself is full of character and history, and our host made us extremely welcome. The rooms were large, comfortable and interesting - no two the same.
