    ACE hotels seem quite consistent in being clean and comfy and a little less cramped than B+B or Ibis Budget in my experience. The one in RIOM is conveniently located near a restaurant (Zinc) in the same complex but book ahead as the restaurant is always busy due to six budget hotels around it. Hotel location is quiet (no road noise) with some greenery space around it.

    It was really good especially the breakfast. very pleasant staff, comfortable bed, adequate restaurants available; we used the Relais Routier; a bit of a hike but well worth it. Cheap but high quality food with superb buffet. Excellent location after 41/2 hours driving, literally just off the autoroute.
