Amazing place. Supportative owner. Most premises are renovated, but the most interesting were areas which havent been renovated - some windows doors with the tracec of natural aging but not destroed in a very good condition.

This might be one of the best stays I have experienced so far! I have rarely come across such a beautiful and authentic lodge. The roses in the garden, the 15th century chateau in the background, and all of this whilst being in the middle of the wineyards… Nathalie has been an amazing host, she walked us around her beautiful flower garden and even showed us how to make rose water! It’s also super well located with St Emilion just moments away, Bordeaux super near and Cap Ferret only an hour by car! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The room gets you access to the full Chateau ! ie: shared upstairs games room, shared downstairs kitchen + dining hall, and you can park and recharge your bikes in the garage. WOW! There was a storm the night we arrived and Monette (the host) drove a few of us to the local village where she ordered Pizzas which we brought back and had a shared banquet. WOW ! We had a king size bed and the room had an additional large single bed in a small loft - up a ladder. A decent sized shower, and all up-to-date fittings. Google Maps doesn't have a street view because their road is gravel, not bitumen. We rode in from the Velo Verte and found the road by dead reckoning - it's not sign posted - so enable your GPS to be sure. The kitchen+dining hall is handy on Sunday and Monday nights in this region of France where almost everything is closed. So buy your picnic dinner en-route and dine in. On hot afternoons chillax in the pool, while you take in the rolling hills, then ride back into Creon on Tuesday thru Saturday evening for a restaurant dinner. Continental breakfast includes breads, baguettes (plain and chocolate), jams, teas (all types) and coffee. But if you ask Monette ahead of time to have some eggs in the fridge, then supercharge that with DIY scrambled eggs. Too easy !

A perfect place to stop over whilst road-tripping from the UK to Southern Spain. The hotel was easy to find with lots of parking in a secured area. Keyless system in operation meant one less thing to lose and situated next to a decent bistro and opposite a large supermarket and petrol station. Super convenient, friendly staff, comfortable bed and very clean room/en suite. And great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
