Au chant des Oiseaux is just the kind of holiday we were looking for, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, immersed in the peace of nature. The hostess, Christine, welcomed us with great warmth and made us feel at home right from the start. During the excellent breakfasts (continental and plentiful) she cheered us up with her stories, making us part of the past of the place. The apartment was equipped with all the comforts and more. We will definitely be back with pleasure!

This was my second stay as I enjoyed it so much previously. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and had offered me supper beforehand, which I readily accepted. I hate impersonal hotels but marvellous 'B&B's' like this make a journey so much more fun. Thank you so much.

absolutely everything !!!!! it was absolutely wonderful and would go back in a heartbeat. loved the decor the situation by the river, the fairy lights in the evening, it was warm and an absolute joy to stay in for the evening, we wish we had longer there.

We were made very welcome and were given fresh tomatoes out of the garden, which were gorgeous. The host lent our grandchildren dolls and a prom to play in the garden, and it was lovely watching the sun set while having a glass of wine.

Very well equipped and supplied, charming and helpful hostess. Ideal stopover from the alps to the uk, especially for those with an EV as there's a charger at the apartment and a supercharger at the local hotel. Superb boulangerie next to that hotel. No time to explore nearby Châlons en Champagne except to pick up a delicious Lebanese takeaway from the centre, but we'll be back I'm sure!

La Bonne Adresse, sitting midway between Reims and Epernay is the perfect base from which to explore the Champagne Region. The bedroom is huge and comes with sitting and dining areas. Martine provides you with a beautiful breakfast. She and husband Serge make you feel at home and even insisted we join them with family and friends to celebrate La Fete de la Musique which they hosted in their gardens this year. A wonderful evening of music, singing, laughter, great food and of course beautiful Champagne. A highlight of our holiday. They are also helpful with advice as to the best places to visit. Highly recommend.
