The hotel is located in a quiet area in a quiet, pictoresque village. It has a very atmospheric front yard where breakfast can be taken. We had the three-bed-bedroom which was spacious and comfortable. The room had airconditioning which the staff recommended to turn on for an hour before bedtime which worked wonders. There are also plenty of windows. Beds were comfortable. Shower in a bath but good water pressure. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly. Car needs to be parked in a parking lot a couple of minutes walking away but luggage can be offloaded in front of hotel.

We loved our stay in Vezelay. The room was very small but well appointed, very clean and with a window overlooking the square and Basilica. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was stylish and clean. The breakfast was excellent and we ate dinner in the hotel twice and the food was superb. The service was great and the staff were very hospitable. There were two English staff who were very friendly and funny. Parking is off site behind the basilica but very easy to find and only a short walk. Vezelay is an absolutely gorgeous little historic hilltop village with stunning views and lovely little streets to explore.

This was one of the most accommodating staff I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. I was travelling with a baby and they gave us a room that was kinda isolated as to not intrude on the sleep of other guests in case the baby wakes up. They also provided us with a bed for him and a chair. It was also very nice to have a bar there and a lounge area where we could chill in the evening when the baby was asleep. Overall a very very enjoyable experience.

    The hotel was ideally located in Vezelay, with a 10min walk uphill through the village to the church, a very beautiful place. Family room at top of hotel was a good size .Breakfast was good, with the best fresh orange juice I had tasted during time in France. Went to a restaurant next door for evening meal which was good valve for money .The car park had limited spaces, so we parked in the public car park outside the front of the hotel for 6euros per day. Vezelay is a lovely village and worth a stop over .

    Great location for visiting this lovely town and The Abbey. The room was very clean and set out well to met our needs. Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating especially considering our poor French! Breakfast was very good.

    Ideal location for a visit to Vézélay. The instructions on how to reach the car park were very clear and we appreciated the guidance on booking a restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and it felt more like staying in a house than a hotel
