The property pause as advertised. It was supposedly decorated extremely comfortable, clean, quiet, and very restful. The hosts were very friendly and very pleasant to deal with. This would be one of the best B&B properties we have ever stayed in.

Lovely view from the Herriot suite, sitting at the kitchen table. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Kitchen small but sufficient. Great coffee machine! Contact with the owner/agency was efficiënt and nice. Nice small town, hike area etc. The Kings Arms across the street serves nice meals.

We only stayed for one night but really enjoyed ourselves. Location was very good with a couple of pubs within walking distance. The hotel was lovely and hosts were very attentive. The honesty bar was well stocked and cocktail hour went down very well.

    We loved the location near to some lovely countryside and a great pub. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was a great base for exploring the area. We slept really well as the cottage was on a very quiet street and the bed was ver comfortable.

    We stayed in the Tricky Woo suite. Ground floor location was ideal. Suite had 3 large rooms comprising of sitting room, kitchen and bedroom. Parking was not an issue as village was quite quiet at this time of year. Shower powerful and hot. Great decor and design. Bed comfortable. House is central in village. Bake-Well cafe across the road produces fantastic homemade meals to takeaway along with great cakes. So, great accommodation and ideal base for the north part of the Dales.

    No breakfast, but Jo kindly provided Croissants, milk and juice. The place was spotlessly clean and the hosts were delightful, plus off road parking was a bonus. It's in a great location and the pubs were handy for evening meals

    The room was delightful - spacious, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We chose the option of a private sitting room for a very modest additional amount, and this provided a large TV, sofa and armchair, table and chairs, and kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were superb. Fantastic value. The location is great for touring the dales and there are many good walks from Askrigg.
