After one day it felt like coming home. Mike is a great host, always there for a little chat. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was even better. Smallish menu but really, I could have the Mac n cheese or the meatballs every day. Very generous portions. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. (thanks again for the banana "cake", Mike!) The beds were very comfortable, my room had a shower, my aunt/mum shared a room with a tub. Everything was clean with everything you need. Beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to the beach. A beer garden to enjoy the sunny weather we had. 10 minutes by car to the A9 and the next little town with everything you need for your daytrips. Also a small supermarket near by. Enough parking space in front of the house.

Easy to find. Stairs a challenge for my friend but not too many and banisters available. The room was large and comfortable with table for breakfast. I enjoyed the breakfast delivered to the room in a basket

Claire and Stephen were amazing hosts, and great to chat to! I’ve never stayed in a caravan before but how everything worked was clearly explained to me. The bed was very comfortable and whilst the outside temperature dropped overnight, the caravan stayed lovely and warm. All crockery and cooking equipment was provided as well.

The B&B and the owner deserve much more than 10 out of 10. Everything was clean and with a delicate fragrance. The room was equipped with everything anyone can desire. The marvellous host spoiled us with tasty homemade breakfast and her kindness which delighted our stay. The negative aspect? We wish we had stayed there many more days. Thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The hostess, Kim, was very kind and welcoming. Straight away she made us feel good. The room was spacious, clean and seemed recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable, the room was warm and the shower/bathroom was clean and had everything you could possibly need.

A very comfortable bed, superb shower, and everything amazingly clean. It was great having a separate sitting room. Lots of tea/coffee available, as well as soft drinks and water. Situated very close to Dornoch, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Julie & Steve are wonderful hosts, thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

    This is a lovely Inn right on the seafront. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you need for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the dinner and breakfast freshly cooked, reasonably priced and very good.

    Beautiful, cosy cottage, extremely well equipped, the hosts have thought of everything including a generous welcome pack. Fab location in Balintore, in walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick Bay and the stunning Mermaid of the North, as well as a very nice and welcoming village pub, the Balintore Inn. Loads to explore on the peninsula on foot or by bike (quiet roads, not too hilly!) including Portmahomack and Tarbat Ness lighthouse and the Pictish Trail.

    Beautiful location! Balintore and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning and deserving of a visit. The inn was very clean and quaint with lots of outport charm and the locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
