    Very friendly staff , the room was spacious and homely, bed very comfy. The room was spotless,very clean . There was a choice of water still or sparkling in bottles ,plenty of coffee and tea . Body wash and shampoo and hand wash were normal size not miniatures ,plenty of towels . The property was old and quirky with a beautiful beer garden at the back . The rooms had double glazing so no road noise . On the high streets plenty of eating places and shops . Excellent property would definitely stay here again

    The hotel was lovely and very comfortable. It was an ideal location for the purpose of our weekend away. The staff were really helpful and lovely too. We ate in the restaurant and the food was superb.

    Lovely accommodation with very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely location, very clean and comfortable. They were not going to do a cooked breakfast but drop a note in during the evening to say that they would now. It was a very nice breakfast.
