Beautifully decorated and every single detail was carefully thought. Very modern with mood lights in the living room and bedroom and electric curtains to make the room extra dark. We had the best sleep there. The mattress is confortable and I couldn't feel my boyfriend moving during the night. We came back considering to change our mattress. You have a little fridge and appliances to make your stay cozy and practical. To be honest I was expecting to spend the holidays hiking and taking the boat around the lake but we decided to stay in the flat and relax instead watching TV in the dark. Would definitely come back for more relaxing days.

The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated! Every detail, from the cozy bedding to the luxurious bathroom amenities, was thoughtfully curated to ensure maximum comfort. The breakfast was a culinary delight, with a wide range of options to cater to all tastes and dietary needs. The hotel's location was perfect – a peaceful retreat yet conveniently close to the best attractions and hiking trails in the area. What truly sets Oakfold House apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. We felt truly pampered and valued as guests.     Ideal location, near the centre but very peaceful and quiet. Comfy bed and very clean room. The host was friendly and went way out as there were lovely treats as in biscuits in the room and cake later on when you came in. Water and fresh milk daily to help yourself from the fridge. Breakfast cooked to perfection, we would definitely stay here again.
