Spotless, well laid out and very warm. Private secluded garden. Secure gated venue, would highly recommend for business or pleasure. Great location for travel to Brentwood, Basildon, Southend and Chelmsford, close to A127 and M25 but in a country setting.

Really comfy, beds and the sheets were particularly lovely. Nice welcome basket with some food left for us. Hosts were contactable if I had a query/problem. Few Christmas decorations up which was a nice touch. Some really good mod cons in property too to use

    Very nice room in a separate building to the main hotel. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Very large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Beautiful tudor decor in the main hotel. Decent size spread for breakfast. Wonderful staff. Very friendly, they were good enough to put my freezer blocks in their freezer overnight. Perfect location just off the M25. Will stay again.

    Location was great, only a few minutes walk from the train station and with the Elizabeth Line you're in London in no time. Bed was very comfortable and place was very clean. Staff was friendly.
