The hotel is old and full of character, but modern where it needs to be. All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly one of the bar men. Loved the food and room. Bed was very comfortable and slept very well. It was a nice touch getting a free land ranger to the top of the village and free entry into it as part of the hotel price.
