The rugged and remote location appealed to us. The cabin had every creature comfort and was very warm, even though the heaters were not on when we arrived we didn't light the fire as it was warm enough. The bed is very comfortable. It was lovely to see sheep strolling past our window!

Had a wonderful stay at Cruachan Guest House. Kenneth was extremely attentive and a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a full Scottish experience and very delicious. Filled us up for most of the day! Could not recommend it enough.

Such a well designed little hut that was packed with necessities! We had a really comfortable stay! Location was also convenient if driving, short drive to the beach and restaurants. 100% recommend! Greatly appreciated the homemade sourdough and canned drinks too!

Hostel: nice common area, well set up sleeping space: separated cabins for 2 people- so you can stay as a couple or as us: mother and son in a separate cabin area.
