Spent a birthday weekend there with friends and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place was immaculate and much larger than we were expecting. The owners are lovely and incredibly helpful and clearly care about their guests enjoying their stay. 10/10 would return and stay if/ when back in the Lake District!

Our room number 12 on the ground floor had an amazingly comfortable King bed. Two great armchairs to relax in during the evening as well as a table and two chairs. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast options were plentiful and of good quality. There was parking for 4 cars at the side of the building. The staff were helpful and on hand when needed. It was within 5 easy minutes walking of several pubs/restaurants.

Wonderful little apartment in the centre of Carlisle. Hidden away from the bustle but close enough to be on hand for everything in the centre, this apartment was superb. It is just the right size for a couple and the outdoor space is a great bonus. Everything you might need for a self catering stay was provided, the finish on the fittings and decoration was amazing and the little personal touches for arrival made for a lovely begining to our stay. Will recommend to anyone looking to stay in Carlisle and will definitely use again.

The location was great. Close to the centre of Carlisle and quiet. My room was immaculate, well thought, light filled with a big window. Leanne was very welcoming, helpful with local recommendations and all my enquiries and did a really good breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. Great stay.

    This was in a perfect location for us as we were attending a wedding nearby and it is close to the Lake District which we made the most of both coming and going. The directions and instructions were clear and accurate, and parking was easy. It had all the facilities we needed including a good shower, and was very clean and with plenty of space. Also the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There is a well stocked Co-op 5 minutes walk away, a pub opposite and cafes nearby.

    Lovely spacious flat, felt like home from home and an ideal location for our needs. When we booked The Blue Bell Inn was open but sadly it closed the week before we arrived, however with a chippy across the road and a co-op a few minutes walk we didn't have to cook or go out for a meal. Instructions for getting into the flat were very clear and easy to follow and there were plenty of parking spaces.
