This is an historic Inn which has been updated in a way that ensures visitors every comfort. The staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive. While the menu is limited, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The location is what you'd expect from an old inn. In the main road with a water view.

Was such a lovely place to stay, couldn’t recommend it more. Spacious, clean, comfy and in an ideal location with a lovely beach nearby. Reception staff were lovely and welcoming, and provided lots of information about the facilities on site.

Cannot thank Kevin and Wendy enough for everything they did for us whilst we were up there. The kindest couple ever. Such a warm welcome and so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage was amazing and just what we needed for our break away. We look forward to going back in the not too distant future.

    All the staff went above and beyond. We received great customer service. We loved staying at The Crown and Anchor and will definitely be back. Our breakfast was delicious- lots of bacon in our pancakes, bacon and maple syrup stack. Great quality produce used.Our evening meal was delicious too. We would highly recommend the Cullen Skink Soup, the Scottish Wagu beef burger and chilli con carne. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Really comfy bed too. It was SO relaxing hearing the sea and the waves outside. Fab location.

    Nice atmosphere, location is ideal in the historic town. Comfortable room, tasty food in the bar/ restaurant. I'd just finished 5 days' wild camping and hillwalking so my stay here was just ideal

    Our room was spotless, comfortable bed and the food excellent. Never seen a bar so well stocked, it was amazing. Location was great, nice walks round about. The icing on the cake, was the staff. So welcoming, very pleasant and professional.,couldn't do enough for us. We felt it was so homely, everyone chatted away to us. A great couple of days, we will be back.

    The most helpful owners and staff ever. My girlfriend fell sick during our stay at the worst possible time - on Christmas. They helped us a lot, extending our stay, driving us to the hospital, improving our comfort. The hotel itself is very clean and cozy, location is perfect for visiting Findhorn and the bar offers good selection of beers and local whisky, food is tasty.
