    The location was not that far from the wedding I was going to. Big room, comfortable bed. Yummy breakfast. Friendly owners :) Owner offered a lift to and from wedding venue at reasonable price.

    Stuart was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable Parking available on site, which was great. Quiet location but great for us as we were travelling through. Good atmosphere and drinks with the locals was fun.

    Perfect location for an overnight stay for a wedding at nearby Howsham Hall. Accommodated an early check-in due to us needing to be at the venue for 1pm. Stuart also offered us a taxi service to and from the venue for a very reasonable price, and was flexible with times, which was much appreciated! Nice, cosy and very clean room which had everything we needed. Breakfast was great too! My partner hurt her foot at the wedding and the owners very kindly offered her some ibuprofen to help with the pain. Would 100% recommend staying here.

    The location was good for me whilst working in Yorkshire. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good and the proprietors and their dogs very friendly.

    This was a great location for the wedding we were attending at a venue near by. The room we had was lovely and spacious, but more importantly it was very clean and comfortable.

    We had a wedding nearby at Sandburn Hall - the location was great. I was really impressed with the management who were incredibly friendly and gave us multiple lifts to and from the venue as a very low-cost additional taxi service. The room was spacious, clean and quiet - and nice and warm which was a bonus in the chilly November weather, we didn't have to do anything to change the temperature. Would absolutely recommend and stay again if in the area.
