It would be advisable to get directions from the owners as our sat nav sent us to the wrong place. It is ideally situated for the interesting puzzlewood and clearwell caves ( closed tues/weds.) Plus other attractions are all near by. We found the lodge to be comfortable and well equipmented with Netflix available. The kitchen was well equipped and the provision of bread and milk was a nice touch. The stairs were steep but this had been detailed. It was ideal with the dog that she could remain downstairs and there was as ample space for her crate without it having to be in plain site.
