1 Star Cottage should be 5 STAR🌟 Cottage. Absolutely beautiful warm home, very well equipped and lovely location to explore the West of the Island. The bathrooms are lovely, the kitchen accessories ticked all needs. The living room is warm and welcoming. Everything was so easy to use. This place is simply amazing. Staying there is like time travel combined with the functionality of today's homes. a beautiful large garden gives a sense of freedom and the location of the house itself gives the feeling that we are on a desert island without any noise and bustle of the city. I recommend it to anyone who wants to find peace and recharge their batteries. the house is very clean although the ravages of time have left their mark there but only in the good sense.

We would definitely come here again! Gayle and Mark are wonderful hosts- there is nothing you could want for in the Sentry Mead- they have literally thought of EVERYTHING! The rooms are tastefully decorated, have mini-fridges, snacks and mugs for tea and bathrobes. Downstairs there is a bar room with drinks and snacks on the honour system and upstairs a Nespresso machine. The downstairs lounge is comfortable and inviting, as is the conservatory, terrace and garden area. You are a three-minute walk from the beach and trekking routes. There are restaurants and shops nearby as well as a bus stop, from where you can catch several different buses to explore the island. It is quiet and peaceful, but wonderfully accessible to tourist sights and other points of interest. And the breakfasts are outstanding!

We received a very comprehensive email with check in instructions and key code. We were impressed with the information our host supplied about the cottage, site and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed how quiet the site was and the cottage is ideally placed near to Yarmouth with its scenic pier. The cottage itself is well appointed with its facilities and is equipped with all you could need.

    Everything was very clean - especially linen and towels. Beds were comfortable. Nothing at all was broken which is actually quite unusual with a rental property! Location was great and the owners were really helpful and responded quickly to queries (specifically about ferry travel). I don't normally bother with reviews but this was a great choice - wish we were still there!

    What a little gem driftwood heart is. Great communication right from booking. The owners have provided everything you will need for a S/C accommodation. comfortable beds modern, bright and spotlessly clean. Sited on a well presented, tidy site in a great location there really wasn’t anything else needed, great info guides in the property and Will defiantly recommend. Thanks for a great stay .

    We really enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Heart. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the extra touches - such as the coffee machine! The location was great - with views of the sea from the site and easy access to the coastal path. Freshwater is such a good base for exploring the island. We would love to come back to Driftwood Heart! Thank you Ian and Maria!
