Clean, very well appointed and comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! Village was a lovely place to spend a few days.

Clean and comfortable, good size tv, lovely property! Lots of space for our dog in the garden. Milk, water, biscuits and plenty of kitchen essentials provided. Hosts were lovely too. Comfy couch and bed. We were only here for one night to avoid any New Year fireworks at home for our dog but it was ideal- rural and quiet but cozy! We’d definitely come back.

The members of staff were very kind and helpful. The room was big, very clean and comfortable. On our last day we had to check out very early and we were given sandwiches and snacks. This came as a surprise as we didn’t ask for it.

    We had a very pleasant one night stay at the hotel. Our room was comfortable (the decor could do with a freshen up). We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed both meals, the service at breakfast in particular was excellent. The hotel is approximately 40 miles from Edinburgh airport and is set in an ideal location to explore the coast line and towns nearby.

    Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet location in centre of village. Close to local park and woodland walk, which is ideal as we had our dog with us. Breakfast was good and tasty. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis by housekeeping.

    Relaxed friendly staff, comfortable room and good food. Great price given the cost for other rooms in the Edinburgh/East Lothian area at the time. An ideal location for exploring East Lothian and the Lammermuirs. Decent complimentary cookies!
