The hosts were lovely and accommodating. The room we stayed in was spacious but still cosy and it was incredibly clean. The breakfast was delicious. Bacon cooked perfectly! The location was amazing. Only a 15 minute drive from skafell pike and a stones throw from the beach, which is gorgeous. 10/10 would definitely come stay again.

    Location and value for money is fab. We stayed for one night and makes a good & affordable base for hiking Scafell Pike. The room is better than what we expected & had the basic necessities that you’ll need. We appreciated how clean it was. Free parking located 200 yards from the property which was great. Local shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

    Absolutely lovely cottage. Ideal location for scafell pike and beaches nearby. The cottage was really clean and communication was excellent. We brought our dog and Natasha provided treats and bowls and all sorts of helpful bits for his stay. Can't fault anything at the cottage - a really lovely place to stay. Some lovely places to eat in the village too.

    The staff were very helpful and friendly upon arrival, and the food was amazing. Large comfortable room that was spotless and made up every morning. Great location for Scafell Pike if that's what you're here for as it's only a 20 min drive away, and close enough to other attractions as well (1 hour to lake Windermere). In all, an ideal place to stay for your trip!
