My wife and I only had one night's stay in Preston. However we were fortunate to have booked to stay at East Cliff, and we had a very nice visit. East Cliff was different from the other 28 accommodation places we have stayed in on our current trip around Europe and the UK. It is more of a traditional bed and breakfast in a beautifully renovated home. David, the host, was very helpful in terms of communication and directions. He allowed us to check in early to fit in with our arrival by train. David lives in the home and he welcomes just a few guests at a time. In our case, one other guest, who had stayed previously. It was good to be able to interact with this guest, and our host. We were delighted with the excellent accommodation, which included a filling breakfast in the morning. To top it off David even cooked and packed us some extra pastries to take with us on our onward journey. He is a genuinely caring and helpful host. David shared suggestions on places to visit during our short stay. East Cliff is handy to the Preston railway station, as well the town centre, restaurants, shops, parks, etc. We definitely recommend East Cliff if you plan to visit Preston.

AMAZING hotel! We received a lovely warm welcome from Victoria and Liam on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was sublime - beautifully decorated with picturesque views across the countryside. Subtle sound of a radio playing classic FM in the bedroom and lovely smelling handwash were extra nice touches. Comfy beds. Exceptional breakfast. It was a perfect night's stay and we can't wait to return!

Lovely marina views and a spotless apartment. The host, Asif, was instantly at hand to answer any questions we had about nearby places to eat, which made our stay even easier. A lovely place, and we will definitely stay again! Jazak!

    You would never know how close the location is to the M6 as it is a rural location on the outskirts of Preston. The room was a bit small but otherwise fine. Loved the bath toiletries and local sweets. The building is beautiful with lots of intriguing prints. The staff were professional and pleasant and service was of a high standard. The evening meal was tasty and hugely enjoyable.
