Scottish spirit that was in everything. The building itself is more than 120 years old, as i understood because of the picture in the restaurant. Free parking . Clean and cozy . Delicious food. Well, as for the location : if you are on these lands, it's quite late, and you are tired of driving. This is the best place to relax

I Loved the location and how immaculate the house was. The house has absolutely EVERYTHING you need. Washing machine , laundry coutamints, kitchen utensils, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, towels, oven ,WiFi, bath,shower,hoover, highchair, travel cot and so much more. The hosts were extremely helpful too. Lidl is a stone throw away wich is perfect and it's on the NC500 route too. Beautiful beach within walking distance and safe parking too outside the house. Lovely enclosed garden for the children ♥️

Our host was very welcoming and full of knowledge for our onward journey.Amazing shortbread biscuits and fresh milk supplied for tea/coffee. Great breakfast choice and it tasted fantastic . Ideal location , lots of eating options nearby. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The owner of the property was so nice that I almost felt at home as soon as I arrived. They even offered us a free ride to the ferry terminal early in the morning after hearing that we couldn’t find a cab in time. The room was cozy and very clean, and the full Scottish breakfast was very generous and delicious. We had an excellent stay and would like to return later.

Good central location in town. Walking distance from the railway station (10-15 minutes). During my stay it was abnormally cold weather, but the owner solved that by offering me an extra electrical radiator. Excellent full Scottish Breakfast!

    A stunning location for our trip around the North Coast. The rooms were impeccable - one inside the hotel, one in the lodges outside. Gorgeous setting. Quiet, peaceful. The food was amazing, too.

    Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff are attentive and multi-skilled working in different areas of the hotel. On reception we were guided to our room. Location excellent - especially if you need to do a night's stay before heading over to The Orkney Islands, as it is only a quick drive to the barge.
