    Staff were lovely. Very welcoming. Room was clean and well equipped, a little dated but aren’t we all? I don’t care about it looking like ideal home, as long as it’s clean and there’s tea making facilities! And our rooms were spotless. We were cycling the NCR72 so the location was great, right on the route, and they had secure bike storage. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the black pudding. Also highly recommend the Cornish pasties from the butchers opposite.

    A lovely large house, well furnished with excellent facilities and in a beautiful, isolated location. It was ideal for our group of 11 with a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to eat and relax. There is also space to park several cars and even an EV charging point. Well situated for an energetic after dinner walk (1.3 miles) to the charming local pub, The Wallace Arms.
