    Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel was ideal for us, just a 20 minute drive into York City Centre. It’s also right next to the York bird of prey centre which is definitely worth a visit. Would definitely consider staying again next time we’re in York.

    The staff were very attentive and helpful, especially at mealtimes. The breakfast was good, but we found the restaurant a little noisy for our taste when dining in the evening. The location, although a little out on a limb, was ideal for where I needed to get to, but for York, I would have chosen something nearer.

    Quiet little location with a nice garden area to chill comfy beds with all basic amenities me and my colleague prefer to find these little gems rather than a premier in or equivalent definitely one I would revisit if working nearby

    Top notch hotel, great location, warm welcome, good value, helpful staff. Nothing not to like and ideally placed for a quick Park and Ride into York. Oh, and the Dawnay Arms pub down the road is a MUST.
