Perfect base for us while visiting family who lived close to the property in the village. A home from home. Plenty of room for 6 adults. View of Craggy Wood at the back was lovely. The train runs at the back of the property but you hardly notice it when in the property.

I couldn’t rate this home more highly. The attention to detail of the property was exquisite; the beautiful furnishings, the homely lighting, crisp white linen and the welcome treats upon arrival. The property is exceptionally well kitted out, with added extras- hot chocolate maker, air fryer, record player and clear ‘shop locally / environmentally conscious’ theme throughout. Everything within the property felt well thought through and purposeful. Very clean and tidy upon arrival. We agree without a doubt that we’ll be visiting again.     Very cute little apartment in a central location in Kendal. Was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Perfect for a stopover on our drive from North Hampshire up to Scotland with our dog. Very easy to get into the flat, and a conveniently located car park right next door which was quite inexpensive.

    Our stay at The Glen Guest House was very memorable for all the right reasons: our hosts were very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. It was an ideal location, the breakfasts were excellent and the rooms very clean. We would not hesitate to stay again.
