    Some people might not like the location but you are in a remote area and it is to be expected after all, I for one loved it as I was doing the NC500 and thought it a great location. The room was lovely and very clean to a hospital operating room standard with a great view of the beautiful garden and sea beyond. Didn't get the chance to walk the path to the beach because of the weather. I would definitely recommend the pancakes and bacon for breakfast - loved it. I would definitely stay again.

    Very basic Accomodation. Ideal for a one night stay however we stayed 4 nights and felt the facilities were very basic and rooms small however very clean and great views

    The continental breakfast was good - bread very fresh and delicious. Everywhere was very clean. Location was ideal for visiting this coastline. Really interesting people drop in there.

    We booked this very last minute after another hotel let us down. Ocean View Bar and Rooms far surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect overlooking the bay, we saw 8 seals on the beach right in front of the hotel. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. The property is spotless and the rooms very contemporary and comfortable. And lovely to sample some local ales in the bar and play darts in the games room! We loved our stay : )

    Great location for exploring the area, superb views from room 5 over Loch Gruinard. On the NC500 route, I used it as a base for a few days wildlife & landscape photography, Staff friendly & attentive. Room was basic but perfectly adequate, very clean & comfortable, plus excellent value for money. Continental breakfast very good. Ullapool, the nearest place of any size, is under an hour away, and is a great drive scenery wise. Would stay again if in the area.

    Great Location with fantastic views. Easy to find with a good sized car park. Friendly, helpful staff in a spotless hotel. Comfortable bed withan excellent shower. Easy access to Inverewe Gardens and the Arctic Convoy museum, both well worth seeing.
