Location was good (close to the ferry), breakfast was really good, the room and the bathroom were clean and really comfy, the host was really nice and helpful, the custom booklet about activities to do on Uist and surrounding islands was really helpful too ! Would definitely recommend !

We had a great overnight stay here at the end of our time on the Uists. It definitely could have been longer. Really great accommodation, everything is very clean. The hosts run the accommodation with a lot of passion, attention to detail and hospitality. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner, Chris is a great cook.

Very nice place. Whereas in my experience with most holiday homes you don't get to meet anyone (there are only messages and code to key safe) it must be said that meeting the host in person really adds to the positive experience, thank you Rona for your hospitality, friendliness and help.

Life on a croft for a month was ideal. We loved the animals and birds. Having the beach nearby and the Hebridean Way was great for walks. It was a good location for exploring the Islands of Eiriskay , South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist and Berneray. Kathryn, having lived there for a lifetime, was a great source of information about the area. We really enjoyed our time with Jeff too. The pod is very weather-proof and the wind was silenced by shutting of the door. On a better day the windows in the pod were easily opened to hear the sounds of nature. A truly memorable stay.

    Lovely little modern bothy, with all we needed for our stay. Ideal location for exploring South Uist and Benbecula with local shop and eateries within a 5 minute drive. Kylie the owner was waiting to give us a friendly welcome and show us around. Loved having the stove and the welcome bottle of bubbly was a nice touch.

    We absolutely loved the cottage great location very clean inside fabulous wee garden with outdoor hose to rinse our wetsuits we would love to come back again as there's just so much to see around south uist and north uist is only a short drive away.
