Marvelous Victorian house, centrally located when visiting Cornwall. Great room en very comfy beds. Breakfast was super, with all kinds of possibilities to order and healthy alternatives. And not to forget; a very warm welcome from Chris and Heidi !

Beautifully presented and a very tastefully decorated. Is exactly as advertised. Quiet location but handy to everything. Grateful for the car parking space. Not that we were able to use it because of weather, but the outside patio is fantastic.

It was clean and functional, nice shower, fridge and freezer. The garden area is also lovely and the water feature could be meditated on for hours. The owner popped in to find out how we were fixed for leaving, rather than scowling and muttering darkly about timings. Very friendly, and the arrangements for gaining entry were similarly relaxed. Solid WiFi is great given the reception issues in that area. Great value if you just need a base rather than a more hotel-like experience for which you would pay a lot more.

If you want to enjoy the nature without forgoing the luxery of self-catering, this is the place for you. The lovely beautifully furnisings are also worth mentioning! All kitchen necessities (appliances) and untensils are provided!!! If you have nice weather (like we did) then our dream vacation is complete! The host is also warm and helpful, spoiling you with sweets and basic provisions, including the fridge! We will definitely be back; it is highly recommended! Thanks a lot to Vicky.

    We had a wonderful stay at Penrose Bed and Breakfast. The location was convenient, close to the Eden Project. The place was spotless, and the facilities were exceptional, including books, bubble bath, lotion, an iron, and a spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend it for longer stays!

    The hosts were welcoming and friendly and had lots of useful tips about the area. We were visiting The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. The location was ideal for both attractions.

    For the £100 we paid for one night, this was exceptional value for money. The hotel is not fancy or luxurious, but my goodness it's clean, good beds and really terrific value for money. The decor is a bit 1990's but you won't find anything better for the money we paid. I would stay here again, but bear in mind it is what it is. Deanne the receptionist was SO LOVELY and helpful. It was a charming and budget stay in a great spotless hotel. THANK YOU!

    The hotel for the cost exceeded expectations, ideal location for the Eden Project and other attractions. the room was very quite and clean. Staff were very helpful and freindlyoriginally booked one night but then added a further night as it was really good value
