    Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Great location on the High Street. Small car park to the rear, which was full when we got there, but they have a sister hotel just around the corner with ample parking. Head to the reception there for a free parking pass.

    Lovely room. Spacious, light, very clean with a comfortable bed. Lovely modern bathroom. Good tea/coffee selection in room. Breakfast was very good too. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent for evening meals too. Very good location in a quiet village which would make a good base for exploring North Yorkshire.

    Great one night stopover in this lovely pub. Room great, very clean and comfy, staff excellent and evening meal delicious. Not far from. A1 so an ideal location to break our journey to Scotland. Would definitely return.

    Room was very clean and spacious. Location was right in the centre of town so ideal for us. We were fortunate enough to be able to park in the small car park at the rear, although space is very limited.
