If you want a peaceful and a quiet place in the countryside away from the city life, this is the place to be. A beautiful Inn with amazing food with a lovely countryside view, nothing beats that. Special shout out to the incredibly lovely staff there who made me feel right at home. Also Kudos to The Chef for making the best avocado and sourdough toast I've ever had!

Amazing hotel! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is travelling to Bristol. It is very close to the train station and to the large shopping mall. The breakfast was delicious - lots of choices of hot and cold dishes. They had eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, tomatoes, cold cuts, cheese, and much more. The room was a good size for three people and we appreciated having kettle and small fridge.

    I would definitely recommend this place. It is spotlessly clean. Love the fact that they leave little cartons of milk in an ice bucket on the landing to help yourself. Food is lovely, plenty of it. Breakfast is well worth the £15. All the staff are polite and friendly, not one miserable person!. It is very quiet and you don't hear any noise from the pub. We used it as a base between visiting Bristol and Bath, also not far from Longleat. We really enjoyed our stay and could find no fault!!

    I stayed in the attic room which was a very good size, good facilities, a very nice large double bed, also a sofa, nice shower room. Very clean and tidy and very comfortable. Stayed at the pub with friends and enjoyed a very good evening meal, great service and an excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Have stayed here several times and it is always a very nice visit, highly recommended.

    I liked that the room was large. There was plenty of tea and coffee with fresh milk in a communal area. The ensuite was modern and spotlessly clean with nice toiletries and towels. It was peaceful at night. So I slept very well. There was plenty of off road parking.

    The location was more remote than expected but that was fine. The breakfast was ok but nothing special basic. Room was beautiful we were overall pleased. A comfortable lounge would have been good as the restraunt was being set for breakfast as we ended our meal. We had drinks at the table and took last one to our room.
