Wellwood was a beautiful grand manor house full of history and traditional charm that provided a really unique experience. The host Cher, was welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The afternoon ‘ high tea’ provided added to the charm and the breakfast was superb.

we appreciated the warmly welcome from Stephanie. The room was lovely, comfortable and quiet. The location is really good as well : close from the main road, but no noise. The breakfast was very good : we had the possibility to choose between different salt dishes

    The property was in an ideal location, just a 10 minute walk from the train station. The room was very cozy, the bed very comfy and everything was spotless. Lorraine was very nice and very helpful.

    The location is fabulous! And it’s is above the Garden Cafe which is a beautiful cafe full of colourful flowers and serving good coffee and food. The room was spotless - very clean! The en suite was very modern. Beds were comfortable. The hosts were a lovely couple and very friendly. Enjoyed a chat with them when we arrived and when we departed. Lovely place, good value for money. Would stay again.

    Friendly welcoming staff. Spacious and comfortable room which was spotlessly clean. Calm and cosy breakfast room with an excellent choice of cold buffet and freshly cooked hot food. Ideal location near the centre of the town but not noisy. I travelled by train and it was not far from the station. It was perfect and I will definitely return.
